Join the BMA and Brian Chiera, Senior Director of Consumer Marketing & Ticket Sales for the Pittsburgh Pirates for this unique event at Pittsburgh’s best sports venue.
Developing a marketing message that both embraces your unique selling proposition and acknowledges your challenges can be a difficult task. The Pirates have had to face these circumstances head on and have done a fantastic job in positioning both the ball club and the stadium to drive increases in attendance and promote corporate boxes and stadium events. Brian will talk first hand on how to sell in hard times and touch on the ways in which the Pirates continue to promote, market and sell the organization to a declining target audience.

After the event, the BMA and Pirates invite you to stay for the Pirates vs. Diamondback game. Game time is 7:05PM and each attendee will receive one Pirate ticket in section 125 and a Pirates baseball cap.
Speaker: Brian Chiera
Brian Chiera is in his 3rd season as Senior Director of Sales and Marketing for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In his
current role, Brian oversees all aspects of marketing and branding for the Pirates, including advertising, media
buying, creative, promotions, special events and in-game entertainment. He also oversees all ticket sales,
including ticket programs, campaigns and initiatives.
